Ezam Mohd Nor is Former Parti Keadilan Rakyat Youth leader.
Ezam, a former close aide to de facto opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, returned to Umno on Wednesday 28 May 2008 after having quit from the party in 1999.
Prior to joining PKR (then Parti Keadilan Nasional) in 1999, Ezam was Petaling Jaya Selatan Umno Division chief (from 1993 to 1996) and Selangor Umno Youth secretary (from 1996 to 1998). He had also served as political secretary to the Finance Minister from 1996 to 1998 and was a fellow of the Institute of Policy Research from 1998 to 2005.
Ezam resigned from PKR last year 2007, reportedly after an internal power struggle with PKR vice-president Azmin Ali, currently the Member of Parliament for Gombak.
